Question

I am 24 years old girl, I have always had a long big nose with a slight hump but since last 2-3 years my nose has grown even bigger. The tip of the nose has become more globular and thick. Please suggest which type of rhinoplasty will be suitable for me.

Answer

From your description and your age, I suspect that you have lost some of the "baby fat" from the face and that the relationship with the nose is different from a few years ago. Sometimes, part of this process is also reduction of the soft tissue volume over the bridge of the nose and when the bridge looks smaller the tip appears stronger. Naturally, without comparative photographs this is only a guess.

My approach is typically to evaluate or on a computer simulation the characteristics of the change that you wish to achieve. This leads to a more structured decision regarding the type of surgery which most likely would involve reshaping and reduction of the cartilage support of the nasal tip and adjustments to the shape of the bridge.
