I am 17 years old and I would like to have a nose job. But in our country there isn't any kind of this 3d rhinoplasty imaging and I would really like to see how I look if I had a surgery.

How can I do it, can I send a picture and get the results of how I would look?

Answer

The 3-D imaging relies on capture of the images with a dedicated system. I would not be able to re-create a 3-D image starting from photographs.

On the other hand, for rhinoplasty simulations, there are systems based on simple photographs that can provide significant information.

I am convinced that there are surgeons everywhere in the world that use this type of imaging for rhinoplasty.

My approach regarding imaging is however not so much to show patients “what they would look like", but rather to work with them to understand what they would like the results to be, and then design a treatment plan that can achieve a result close to the design.
