What is your minimum age for rhinoplasty?

My daughter recently had an accident and has now got a bump on her nose. She is 14 years old.

There isn't a generally accepted minimum age for rhinoplasty, although the advice is that interventions on the nose should be postponed until it has reached its full development around the age of 15 or 16.

I typically carry out cosmetic rhinoplasty interventions after the age of 18, when the facial development enters a period of slower changes.

In the context of post traumatic changes for the shape of the nose, it is also possible to do a smaller intervention to reduce the visibility of the bump around the age of 16, with a view to provide a more comprehensive correction if required, after the age of 18.

Since there is no general consensus regarding the age element, I would encourage you to enquire with several surgeons in order to reach a decision about the course of action.
