What is your patient satisfaction rate for rhinoplasty?

I have thick skin on the tip of my nose, have you ever successfully refined a thick nasal tip and can this be achieved with a good result?

Answer

Interventions that aim to refine the nasal tip starting from a more bulbous appearance and thicker skin are relatively common, but apart from the surgery, during the after-care I tend to use some injections around the tip of the nose to reduce the tendency to build scar tissue and allow for the definition to show through.

The revision rate overall for rhinoplasty is in my practice approximately 10%, and my understanding from various meetings on the subject is that this is what most surgeons that focus on rhinoplasty seem to encounter.
