Questions & Answers The Surgical Experience About Anaesthesia

After 3 previous nose surgeries, my nose is still twisted, crooked, asymmetrical.

I have had 3 previous surgeries to my nose, 2 following trauma. My nose is still twisted, crooked, asymmetrical and the last surgery put a graft in my bridge which is poking out and has a recessed 'shadow' all the way around it, my nose also droops and is too long.

I have had many consultations and I am still trying to have more as I know this will probably be the final time I will have nose surgery.

(I have had some positive responses so far!) mine, appears to be a very difficult case, so I'm not rushing into anything.

I would like to make sure I find the right surgeon who has the right experience to get the job done. Do you do many revisions? (my last surgery was about 6 or 7 years ago).

Approximately 30% of my rhinoplasty work is related to secondary surgery. I would be happy to see you in consultation and advise regarding options for improvement.

Typically, at the time of the consultation it would be useful to have information regarding what was done during previous operations. Using computer imaging and simulation it is possible to define the changes you would like to achieve, and identify what elements are feasible and type of surgery would be necessary to achieve it.

You have to bear in mind though that the end result of surgery is never identical to the computer simulation, even if it bears close resemblance.
