Question

I have loved my nose all of my life up to the age of about 16. My nose looks perfect from the front view, but as I aged, now 24, I got a bump and a very manly looking pointed nose from the profile.

I would love to have a rhinoplasty in order to reduce the bump to a straight profile, not curved as a button nose would not suit my face as I have a models high cheekbone face.

I'm so worried this can not be achieved without completely altering the look of ny nose from the front and I really don't want anything to change from that view. Is this possible or would I have to expect to look completely different from the profile AND front?

Answer

In some instances, it is possible to adjust only the appearance of the nasal bridge without any interference with the nasal tip. This doesn't automatically mean that the appearance of the bridge of the nose from the front remains the same, but that it can be brought to be relatively similar to the original.

It would be possible to evaluating a computer simulation the degree of change that you seek, and that will allow me to give you more detailed evaluation about possible changes from the front view when the profile changes.
