I was wondering if a buccal fat removal would help me with my issue.

During my late teens I seemed to develop chubby cheeks and no matter what I do I can't lose them. I never had them till about 16 years old but now I do and they bother me.

When I smile especially it makes my face look chubby and when I relax my face normally I still don't have much definition. I have tried to lower my body fat as I work out 5 days a week but it hasn't helped at all.

Would this surgery or another type of surgery be able to help?

I can see when I smile my cheeks push out quite a lot and I would like to have it fixed.

Overall, depending on the extent of the problem and degree of change that you wish to achieve, it could be that buccal fat reduction is the solution, or that a combination of liposuction to the lower part of the face and jawline as well as buccal fat reduction may be required.

To start with, during a consultation it is possible to use a combination of 3-D imaging and simulation to help determine the amount of change required, and on this basis to establish a treatment plan.
