Breast Surgery
a wide range of options

There are three basic types of breast surgery for women: augmentation, reduction and uplift.

  • Breast augmentation or enlargement uses implants to even out the sizes of your breasts and make them larger. You'll be able to choose from a palette of options to customize your results.
  • Breast reduction - if you've been embarrassed by the size of your breasts - or if you suffer from back aches or chafed areas under your bra straps - breast reduction surgery can bring relief. Again, you'll be offered a variety of choices and we'll explain how the amount of reduction you choose affects scarring from the procedure.
  • Breast uplift - if time or childbearing have caused your breasts to sag, breast uplift (Mastopexy) can return them to a more pleasing line. As with breast reduction, the amount of lift affects the amount of scarring.

Help for men as well

Gynaecomastia, a condition in which a man's breast tissue is enlarged, is both common and distressing. Before the advent of male breast reduction surgery it was also permanent. No medication, exercise or diet improves the condition.

Few issues are more personal to a woman than the size and shape of her breasts.
