I'm a 19 year old slim size 8 and have had lifelong confidence issues with the chubbiness of my cheeks. I want to achieve a slimmer face and a stronger jaw line especially from side profile.

Do you think a buccal fat removal procedure or a mini facelift would be best suited for me?

Answer

In essence, I approach facial contouring or facial sculpting surgery being a consultation using 3-D imaging and simulation to try and produce a more structured target and with it a treatment plan.

In most instances buccal fat reduction in combination with liposuction to the lower part of the face and jawline can produce significant changes. I would not contemplate a mini facelift in someone as young as you.
