Can Obagi Nu-Derm scar? I heard if it is not done properly, it can leave scars.
Within the Obagi Nu-Derm treatments are included chemical peels as well as skin preparation.
The skin preparation can lead to problems of hyperpigmentation, in particular in darker skin types, in the context of unprotected sun exposure or prolonged sun exposure even with sun block protection.
The chemical peel is a more aggressive treatment and can lead to both scarring and problems of hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation, and therefore needs to be evaluated carefully in this indication, as well as application and post treatment care.
