Question

I have an asymmetrical face my right side jaw line and chin is slightly bent and the right side of my nose is crooked.

I would just like to know if this can be fixed?

Answer

Facial asymmetry is universal, and it is only a matter of degree. Very small asymmetries are not worth correcting, because they are only obvious to careful observer.

Adjustments using dermal fillers are relatively easy to do, but would obviously repeating. For the jawline symmetry it is also possible to use fat transfer, in particular if you are contemplating rhinoplasty.

With regards to the chin implant, it would be suitable only if you also require an augmentation. A significantly asymmetric chain can be adjusted by a centralising genioplasty.

All in all, for the assessment of changes it is very useful to have a 3-D photograph and to do the planning using it.

With regards to the nasal reshaping, reduction in size and correction of deviation are common components of the rhinoplasty intervention.
