Question

What is the difference between BodyTite and VASER?

I have fat roll under my bum, is it possible to remove it by any techniques?

Answer

Both the BodyTite and VASER techniques of liposuction represent energy assisted techniques.

Bodytite uses radio frequency energy to generate breakdown of some of the fatty tissue, and facilitate extractions through liposuction, and at the same time the heating that is generated during the treatment helps to firm up the support of the skin. The energy is distributed only at the tip of the cannula..

VASER uses ultrasonic energy for the same purpose as the radio-frequency assisted technique, but generates less heat and distributes the energy also laterally.

Ultimately, both techniques assist body contrary along relatively similar mechanisms, with a possible advantage for lifting from the radio-frequency assisted approach.

With regards to the fat roll under the buttock crease, it is a relatively difficult area, because liposuction sometimes makes it look worse. Superficial liposculpture without any energy assistance, can provide some improvement, but it depends on the overall elasticity of the skin in the area.

I would be happy to see you in consultation and advise.
