Could you inform me what is meant by a short scar facelift? Is this the same as a 'mini facelift'?

How much are these treatments?

I am 43 and can see I would look better with a firmer jaw line. I am only just starting to 'mull' this over!

A short scar facelift typically refers to the fact that the operation involves a relatively small segment of scar behind the ear.

The typical indication is for someone who has some laxity along with the jawline and maybe the corners of the mouth, but reasonably good neck contour.

It is commonly referred to as mini facelift, and there are different approaches in terms of the management of the deeper layers of the face (SMAS layer).
